Description

Peanuts was a constant source of inspiration for the Mad Magazine crew, and was the subject of many a gentle parody. Charles Schulz proved to be a likewise fan of Mad, and sent in this great panel as a "letter" from Snoopy, the WWI Flying Ace. The note reads, "We flying aces like your magazine. I find it in all the trenches" and is "signed" with a paw print by the grinning Snoopy, who has a copy in hand. This appeared in the April, 1972 issue's letter page.
