Most Legion covers are in private collections or priced way out of my range or just never been seen or surfaced . I am a DC fan and read many different titles over the years/decades. I have a fondness for some of the more eye catching covers from the 60's 70's and early 80's that depicted something so outrageous in image or in the cover dialogue that the comic was practically begging to be lifted from the spinning rack, bought and taken home to be re-read again and again,until it fell apart. Believing that any comic I read, or cover that I admired, over the years, could with a little bit of work/creativity and fun become a Legion cover. In this Infinite Timelines Gallery, I moved a little further into my experiment, by lining up the re-worked or "re-Legioned" individually commissioned covers into a specific sequence. I drew from lots of different comic companies & genre's to then, tell a completely NEW Legion tale. I brought togther various incarnations of the Legion in a "Crisis-like" event to fight the Time Trapper. Out of that main story, we have almost a dozen maxi-series where everybody and anybody is drawn into the Cosmic Battle of Good Vs Evil. It gives me a chance during this multi-year, over 500 part story ( Editorial Update 1000 part story ) highlight all the characters, that make the Legion so very special. Heroes live, die and are changed forever by this event.... Enjoy & LONG LIVE THE LEGION !!!
