The cheongsam is a Chinese dress. IMy interest was spurred by my aunt's collection of the family costumes. She's exhibited the dresses at UC Davis and published a small pamphlet. A book is in the works. My first art piece was an Adam Warren drawing of Yuri from the Dirty Pair. It was already done when I purchased it. I'm now asking artists to do drawings featuring the dress.
