Marini - L'Etoile du désert
L’intrigue est dramatique : Washington. 1870, Matt Montgomery occupe un poste important au ministère de l'intérieur. Un soir, il rentre chez lui et il découvre l’horreur. Sa femme gît sur les marches de leur maison, tuée de façon épouvantable tout comme sa fille qu’il retrouve également morte et totalement nue avec un étrange motif qu’une pointe de couteau a dessiné sur son sein gauche. Une sorte d’étoile ! Matt va alors se lancer à corps perdu sur la piste des tueurs, pour se venger peut être mais surtout pour comprendre le pourquoi de cette abomination ! Le dessin de Marini est toujours aussi généreux, juste et expressif mais ce qui frappe avant tout dans cet album, c’est la mise en couleurs qui est somptueuse et audacieuse.
