Lantern Corps Color Spectrum Jam (WIP)
First jam piece started - color spectrum of the Lanterns from Black to White. Even though I've had a few sketch covers done, this was my first foray into the jams. Mike McKone kicked it off for me. Initially he was going to do blue (Saint Walker), but he didn't seem keen on what he referred to as "Ambush Bug" lantern. I left it up to his discretion and when I returned he said he went with Sinestro. He knocked it out of the park! Next up I went to Jim Calafiore who has been popping in and out of Red Lanterns (and is on an arc for this fall). So naturally I asked him for Atrocitus - looks wicked and full of rage! Must thank Mike "Off White" White for talking shop with me at Mike McKone's table and his suggestions on going about getting commissioned art. His knowledge and enthusiasm was much appreciated! Daniel Govar was next on the list - he did the fantastic Aquaman on my Justice League jam - but the timing was off for addition to my Lantern jam. Fortunately he was at Heroes and I managed to get Larfleeze added. The Orange Lantern looks absolutely greedy!
