Gen 13 Grunge studies by ADAM WARREN

            Adam Warren is one of my favorite artists and writers. Besides his longtime deviantart account, fans can keep up with his EmpoweredComic Twitter, sexy superhero comedy (or not) tumblr, and adam_warren_art Instagram. Empowered started as printed graphic novels from Dark Horse Comics with eleven volumes to date. Fans can read Empowered Comic online as a webcomic with daily creator commentary. The best way to keep up is to support the Adam Warren Patreon. I bought a box of Adam Warren items on eBay from one of Adam's friends of Antarctic Press in 2007. The box included original drawings, photocopies, convention items, and a frisbee. The A-Kon convention badge is dated 1995 and most of the items seem to be from this time.
      The largest group of original drawings seem to be design and facial studies for Caitlin, Grunge, and Roxy. I've seen similar finished drawings in the back of the book collection Gen 13 Bootleg: Grunge: the Movie and Adam's own Biohazard sketchbook. A few pieces are prelims for Wildstorm cards and pin-ups.
