Purita Campos
PURITA CAMPOS (Barcelona 1937) Comienza sus estudios de dibujo en la Llotja de Barcelona, pasando a ser ilustradora de revistas de moda. A finales de los 50 entra a formar parte de la plantilla de Bruguera en calidad de ilustradora de portadas para las colecciones Can-Can y Celia, de ahí a dibujar historias fue un paso. Sissi, Blanca o Dalia fueron sus historias para Bruguera, de donde daría el salto como muchos otros dibujantes españoles al mercado inglés. Es en Inglaterra donde cosecha su gran éxito Patty´s World con guiones de Phillip Douglas. Fueron casi veinte años de trabajo para una serie que le dio el reconocimiento que merece. En España, Patty se llamó Esther y su mundo, como no podía ser de otra forma. Tina, con guiones de Andreis Brandt, y Gina, con guiones de Francisco Ortega, fueron otros de sus éxitos. En la actualidad, Purita Campos, a retomado su personaje Esther (Patty) en Las nuevas aventuras de Esther, junto al guionista Carlos Portela, donde su famosa pecosa se ha hecho mayor.
