While not the first comic book I owned, it was the first series I started collecting. I got Marvel's issue #4 off the spinner rack at the local grocery store in 1984. Loved the TV show, but figured since it was #4 of a 4 issue limited series, I'd never find the others. A year or two later I discovered that there was such a thing as a comic book store, and picked up #24 & 25, and so the collection filled-in and grew. Started buying art around 2001, and slowly have grown this collection. Recently, it's been mostly commissions due to the cost of the original stuff.
