DescriptionI saw Nick at Fan Expo Canada 2025 and he confirmed this splash was his first time drawing the Guardians of the Galaxy from his run of covers and interiors. Nick usually inks his own art except for some pieces from early on in his career. This comic was published just a few months before the first GotG movie was released. It was meant as a jumping point for new readers of the ongoing series while also helping to promote the movie. Guardians of the Galaxy movie was critically acclaimed and also went on to become a successful trilogy. To this day many top Marvel movie lists include Volume 1 in their top 5. I know I do! |
