Description

Opening page for "Panther's Quest" Chapter VIII, pencilled by Gene Colan and inked by Tom Palmer, published in Marvel Comics Present #20 (1989). This was the 8th part of the 25 x 8 pages episodes (except for the latest episodes which had a few more pages to them). South African troops invade the black township with tear gas vehicles while T'Challa rushes into Patrick Slade's Curiosity Store... Love the opening words by Mark Twain: "Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear".
