Description

When I bought the pencil sketch by Al Rio for this, I inquired about getting it inked both with Al and other inkers and found it outside what I was willing to spend. So, I decided to try my hand at something I can do. I got out my creaky and trusty Adobe PhotoDeluxe and came up with this. As you can see, I changed a few things, taking MJ's shirt off for starters. Not only did the shirt look like a bother to colorize, this is nicer.

The stars are an actual starscape looking from New York City in some direction at some time on the night of May 28, 2006.

I kept the artist credits blank, figuring that no matter how I put it: Robert Plunkett colorist, Al Rio Pencils; Al Rio; or Robert Plunkett after Al Rio, somebody would object.
