DescriptionCerebus (title storyboard) ca. 2012 by Dave Sim 17 x 11 in, ink and watercolor on board As I recall, these were storyboards may have been for an animated logo related to the proposed "Ultimate Cerebus" IDW project, which was an interesting idea: a batch of 25 artists or artist teams re-imagine the first 25 issues. The image evokes the fighting, flaming battle from the cover of issue #1. The top frame was recently used during the (June 2020) Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns for the "remastered and expanded" version of Cerebus #1 by the Waverly Press. |
