Description

This is probably one of my favorite pages in the whole series as not only does one of my childhood toys make an appearance in the fourth panel (Optimus Prime), Penciller Leinil Yu also manages to put in a couple of Filipino references in the second panel: Isaw (Chicken Intestines), is the local Filipino street food that the kid is eating and an 'Eat Bulaga' shirt in the background. With over 11,000 episodes to date, Eat Bulaga is the longest noon-time variety show in the Philippines. Written by Mark Millar and inked by Gerry Alanguilan, Gerry completes the piece and gives it life. Note: Piece is signed by Gerry Alanguilan.
