Description"The Sign of the Serpent" In the ongoing saga of the Black Widow, she was brainwashed two issues ago and fought the Avengers alongside Power Man and Swordsman. She's back now and has this fatale-noir scene with Hawkeye. So classic. She's back next issue and rescues Cap from the Sons of the Serpent, the racist group that makes its first appearance in this two-issue story and sets the stage for many future tales. Heck's style was classic for this sort of pulp romance. |
