Description

Spooky page 57 from Midnight Sons Unlimited #1 (Marvel, 1993) by the super-talented Jerry Bingham (pencils and Inks). This scene is from the story, "Blood is Thicker", written by Len Wein and stars Morbius, the Living Vampire. In this scene, a hunter named Gunther, has trapped Morbius and reveals how the vampire had stalked and murdered his young daughter Allison, a pre-med student, draining her entirely of blood. Morbius remembers the incident and regrets his grisly deed by stating, "Hers was one of the last...of Innocent Blood!" Excellent rendering and detail by Bingham with a whole lot of raw savage energy that comes out in his interpretation of Morbius.
