DescriptionYears ago, I got a call from a friend of mine letting me know that Budd had a slot open on his sketch list. Since I didn't have a Budd Root piece in my collection I jumped at the opportunity. At first I had thought about getting a Catwoman, but at least two of the other people had already picked that character. So on a whim I picked Starfire....as you can see it was a good pick. Budd crushed this piece. Not only did it have a superhot Starfire but also paid homage to one of my favorite shows from my childhood (reruns)...THE TWILIGHT ZONE. This particular piece is from the episode titled "Nightmare at 20,000 feet" featuring William Shatner. This was published as print and as the centerfold in his 2012 Pittsburgh Comic Con exclusive sketchbook "Babes Fer 'Burgh-ers". |
