DescriptionTalk about Tentacles! Great Jack Kirby monster splash from "The Impossible Tunnel!" from Strange Tales #96. Think of this as a giant animation cel: a film positive shot directly off the original art at 100%, then painted by LA artist Byron Werner with animation cel vinyl paints to match the coloring in the comic book. It measures 13"x19". I made a few of these back in the early 1990s and presented one to Roz Kirby. I hope it still has a home with one of the family all these years later. |
