DescriptionScanning this never seems to do the pencils justice. Plenty of Ten tickles in the so-called DPS. This was published as a Double-Page Splash in the DC Universe Holiday Special from 2008 (the art is actually on A3 paper, so more like a vertical Splash I guess). It's a take on The Three Wise Men or Three Kings Christmas story, with Aquaman as one of the kings. I think this image is right up there with the Alex Ross splash from JLA: Liberty and Justice or the Jim Lee Megalodon from Nu52 Justice League in terms of bad-assery. |
