DescriptionFrom "Chapter Nine: Violence", this silent page features Dr. Delia Surridge haunted by her role in creating V. Her fiery nightmarish visions make for an incredibly atmospheric page, moments before she is killed by V himself. From the all-time classic by Alan Moore and David Lloyd, this page opens with a classic image of V in his signature mask. Created in stark chiaroscuro for the black and white British magazine, it was reprinted (with muted colors) for the DC Comics release of V for Vendetta #3 in 1988. Crafted in ink and Conte crayon over graphite on white illustration board with an image area of 11.5" x 16.75". Discolored production tape, text paste-up, staining and trimming to margins, whiteout, toning, and handling wear. In Excellent condition. |
