here's a black & white version of the painted piece. About me- I've actually been visiting this site since it was a list of gallery links in--1997/98? I'm a huge comic fan, especially illustration and panel art. Miller, Mazzuchelli, Gibbons, Neal Adams, Toth, Frazetta - I love the realistic comic illustrators, who made comics really just still frames from a movie. And to see, years later, Hollywood get some of these characters right on film is awesome- Dark Knight, Watchmen, etc. I'll post my published pieces eventually, but hopefully you can see some influences in my work. Thanks for taking a look, and thanks for posting your own pieces for the group to enjoy! Also- I'm open for doing commissions on a recession buster rate, so I can build up a commission gallery on the site. Ink wash and watercolor is primarily my thing.
