Description

This one is a bit incomplete. Near the end of the con, Isaac and his tablemate Edwin Huang had a deal where you could get a sketch from Isaac after purchasing one from Edwin. After Edwin drew Superman One Million and Solaris the Tyrant Sun, Isaac took over my book. But with time winding down, he told me to seek him out in the future to get the sketch inked. Even if I don't find him right away, it's still a nice sketch. As for our subject . . . back when Marvel and DC Comics did "Amalgam" books, Thorion was part of the second wave, combining the God of Thunder with Orion, along with mixing the mythologies of Asgard and New Genesis in Thorion Of The New Asgods. The issue itself was weak, but it's good if you want to see art from John Romita Jr. featuring characters such as Odin Highfather (self-explanatory), L'ok D'saad (Loki + Desaad{, Bald'r Lightbringer (Balder + Lightray), and the deadly Thanoseid (Darkseid + Thanos . . . which is kinda like mixing chocolate with chocolate, at least art-wise).
