DescriptionAnother transparency colour guide from one of my favourite comics ever (introducing me to the art of Art Adams, and the character of Doug Ramsey as Cypher). A lovely, if random, cameo by Popeye, Bluto and Olive Oyl, or their Asgardian analogues at any rate, as Cypher discovers that standing up for yourself is all well and good, but in a feudal society where the average member of the population rates their strength by how many TONS they can lift, it's not always the wisest choice. I love Doug's "'Join the New Mutants' they said, 'See the Universe' they said..." expression in the last panels. |
