DescriptionJack Kirby and Vince Colletta - Fantastic Four #40 Page 12 Original Art (Marvel, 1965). Stand back! FF fans will always remember this savage page from the legendary yarn, "Battle of the Baxter Building." The FF attacked their own headquarters, which Dr. Doom had taken over. At the climax of the battle Reed used a stimulator to force Ben Grimm to turn back into the Thing. Ben Grimm, stripped of his humanity and enraged, broke down Doom's force field and literally ripped his armor apart. It was one of the greatest scenes in the history of the Fantastic Four. The art measures 12.5" x 18.75" and is in Excellent condition. Own a piece of comics history! Contact sales@reedcomics.com for prices/details or visit www.reedcomics.com for artwork for sale. |
