As a fan of the game and its history and having collected Chess sets over the years, this is without a doubt the best Chess set table I have ever seen. Huge congrats!

Great acquisition!

It's not all that different from Medieval times drawings of the days of chivalry and knights.  Plenty of symbolism and hidden meanings and code only privy to those who understood the culture and the time they were living in.

Nice shwashbuckling swagger holding his big sword out proudly with the lady draped on him for a timeless look.  The futuristic city scape provides bright lighting to make Flandry's sword pulse with a glow.   

With it being so limited, I wonder how many exchange hands through the years?  

I think its one of Annie's best backdrops with the depth of the scene as opposed to her often amazing but busy landscapes.

Many great things to study in the serene environment to frame the centaur so delicately with the moonlight, under the branches, and pushed to the foreground by the body of water.  It just belongs along with all the things we find beautiful with nature in this painting.   

Rob should do more city landscape pieces, he really does do them well. Probably take more work than another mountain though!

Really nice dark eyeshadow to deepen the look of determinedness in contrast to the red of his garments and chiseled marble figure. 

Very classic looking and full of great detail. The painting pulls you in with the horse rider.

That citadel is so complete!  It makes you focus on the all the little details that then carries over to make you look at the foreground for a fun surprise.

Disturbingly arresting with grotesqueness above and intricate elegance below.  It looks like a science experiment gone wrong, and almost cruel to keep them in this state. 

Cool scene, are those like naga on top of the other guys? I'm sure Pat or Jane must know someone .
