The crowd convinces Rogers that Old Man Mose hurt his wife, so Rogers goes and murders Mose, but then Rogers' wife tells him that Mose was actually the man who SAVED her from the one who beat her. So, Rogers certainly BECOMES guilty, yep. As you say, if you're sweating in comics, you're guility.

For some reason I couldn't get into American Flagg back when it was coming out. I love it now, though. Too bad I didn't like it back in the days when I could have grabbed some pages at cheap prices!

I'm trying to remember when I got this page. That dedication was already written at the bottom, so apparently Dan didn't treasure the page as much as I do. I think I bought this straight from Beto? Would have been a long time ago. Mid nineties, I'm thinking?

I can remember talking with Paul at the convention where he gave me this, and I was hoping at the time that he and I could do a project together. Not sure I ever talked with him again, after the con, though. He just seems to have disappeared. Comics aren't a high-paying job, of course, so...some people don't stick around. Dang.

It would have been...maybe 1993? Somewhere in there. And it was from a dealer. Can't remember which one. I can remember looking at some Dark Knight pages at the same convention, and wanting one, but the prices were OUTRAGEOUS. They were like... 5 or 6 hundred.

Agreed! I don't have many pages from the B&W magazines, but it's definitely becoming a collecting focus for me.
