Wonderful! I'm super envious. This was also published before Issue 1 of Kaya as the cover to Issue 4 of the Image 30th Anniversary Anthology. So great to see your two covers together. 

I didn't know there was a cover either until I got a copy of the ashcan and went 'oh, that piece looks familar'.

Kaya's 'Kirby arm' is one of the coolest things in the book.

It's so cool. 

That Scalera cover's a bit pricey for me too. Dead of envy you got these layouts. Super nice examples.

I loved this when Mike posted it. Great Mephisto. Took a risk just asking for a colour as a theme but it worked out perfectly!

Keith...I don't know what to say. Who knew BJB would be the secret star of Ultramega? I still reckon it's a reference to The Shining. Love how Yo also riffed on the way James will sometimes draw fart sounds and such on the borders of his OA with that little 'toot' there. I think you might have a madness but congrats.

Thank you Sir Artless. The intensity of it is one of the things that appealed to me too. We see some beautifully staged monster fights in comics but there's an immediacy to this I enjoy.

Thanks! And yeah, seeing revisions is one of my favourite things. I have a few Harren pages with replacement hands or heads or revisions like this where creatures have been moved around. Can see the artist's decisions and thinking right there on the page. Love it.
