As a fan of the extreme comfort I have found in the use of "flip flops", I find that Wes perfectly captures the overwhelming fear contained within me as it pertains to their use in the rain.  I can almost feel their pain through the ink...knowing that when they eventually land on their feet, the squishy noise it'll make.  It's writen on their faces.  BTW, love the cover, great pick up!

Nice choice of angle by Werther to show us the white mask on the floor...a truly "letting go" moment.  As a guy who is constantly dropping stuff on the floor, I obviously can't relate...but what a joy to have gotten this page, congrats!

You know how Nintendo hero Mario had Wario...now imagine a universe where...spoilers...Batman was turned into the Joker persona.  This created the "Batman Who Laughs" and the Dark Nights Metal universe.  So this would be one of the near mindless versions of Robins from that universe...all of which I love dearly!

Agreed...with all that!  The owner did reach out and ask if I wanted Stegman's pencil page...but my budget gadge is on "broke as heck" right now.  This is going to be a grand missed opportunity for me, but I could not be happier with JP's work here.
