Lotta depictions of SLR focus on the attractiveness of the character, but this one adds a feral wrath to the look. Very fresh and welcome, not to mention fitting, without looking the aesthetic appeal of this outfit

I could gush about it, the colors, the dynamism of the brush strokes, even the textures that don't show on the picture... its awesome. Im very lucky to have the opportunity to own it.

Ive loved Astro City for years, but the Confesser arc was something i only read within the last few. It lived up to its reputation, and this hero made an indelible impact on my perspective of comicsdom. Amor picked very very well.

What Simone does so well is capture the essence of a character with little.  Here it's a pretty standard epic villain pose but he lit Dooms mask and angles it do that we can just barely see his eye looking down on us as Doom looks down on everyone. It really captures the character and elevated the whole thing. 

Thank goodness he beat out the editors wishes!
