Its so beautiful to see when the writers dont imploy tired writing tropes such as bad guys losing all the time, its always rewarding to get to see Doom triumph over so many heroes at once . Even if for a page or two...

But imagine a world where Doom wasnt burdened by plot ! Well thats a world that would truly show Dooms full potential .

Its always a treat to get to see the pens and inks from a traditionally painter of covers, rare oppourtunity indeed only at conventions, so im just super lucky to have that oppourtunity in my neck of the woods .

thats what literally everyone told me once i got this piece, and sadly im afraid to say, they were all 100% completely right ... hahaha just made a purchase for my first Marvel cover this week HA !

To have one of only a handful of Djurdjevic's interior pencils is such a treat seeing the very small amount of titles from 2008-2010 he did , obv mostly known as a digitially painted cover artist, and to have Doom my favorite charcter plus sick lady loki and balder is a plusss .

Im super lucky to have even found this piece as well, it was brought about from talking to a random stranger at my LCS about OA and he just so happened to sell this page to my LCS owner maybe years back and LCS had completely forgotten about it, and still being hidden behind his desk. I had to ask a price and i was sold !!

Oh yes, that first panel made the piece an instant buy alone, the menacing grimace is so large and finely detailed, it's simply staggering to look at in person ! Thank you !  

Coudn't have said it any better my friend. Thank you so much, this piece means alot to me as my first ever cover piece, but more importantly because I was there with Matt Cole since before he even released The Glopple through his own indepent label Improbable Comics with only a print run of 1000 the first time, and to now see him only a year later signed to Legends Publishing for the re-release which is available in every single comic shop in the world that uses Diamond Distribution ! 

This is a Dream come true . 

Im pretty curious Marcus , How and when did you come to know the legend that is The Glopple !!??!?! Your knowledge of such a new character and series that i hold beloved as its #1 fan has got me impressed !!! But, ofcourse this is always to be expected when the great Marcus Wai comments !

The story on how I came across this page is just as cool as the page itself. Incredible. Thank you so much. Means a lot . Especially as the first published work in my collection. Wow 

It is such a stunning piece . Being new to the comic world, only a year and a half in, i had never seen anything like this in person before, the level of mastery is so apparent. Even though this the pencil stage, you can tell how much detail and heart he put into this page . Coudnt be happier to come across and then aquire .
