Fantastic Staton GL pages. I always thought Mitchell was one of the best inkers for Staton's pencils, and these pages look terrific.

Great page. Having the text on these pre-digital-lettering days allows the page to have more impact with the text intact. Great Cully art also!

Okay, maybe not quite the best ever, but this is a page that's too cool for regular collectors. Just like this story was too out there for regular comic book readers, the same way Ornette Coleman was too out there for Jazz listeners whose ears+brain only had one gear.

A fantastic page stuffed full of ringholders! Pasarin doesn't get enough accolades. The man has that rare blend of high-level draftsmanship and obsessive attention to detail, and he shows it all on this page.

Guy Davis strikes again with another fantastic page that moves the reader's eyes through the scene. An artist with a style all his own.

A great example of JHW's page composition and detailed draftmanship. The bat header and dragon footer are perfect additions to the page.

That is one great page! The history - the music - the art - the implement of color - Miles Davis. It's great the way the page opens with a scene setting first panel, that then leads into the front door, that leads to the interior, to leads to the drummer dropping science onstage, that leads to Miles' amazement. A masterfully constructed page.

Dave seems to be a slept-on talent but I'm thrilled to see some love for his work here on CAF.

I bought three pages from Chisholm at HeroesCon2025. Hopefully, I'll get to post them soon. I'm a huge Jazz fan, so getting art from Chisholm was on my must-have list.
