Oh yeah! One of my all-time favorite books! The sense of scale and depth was amazing. As a kid, I felt like I could fall right into those pages.

You never do... It was amazing to me that a person could actually buy one of the real pages from a comic book. I think I was 13 or 14 years old when I bought this....for about 15.00. After that....I was hooked.

Yeah...it was funny...I saw this on Ebay and was shocked and kind of embarrassed that this Golden/Nebres story had completely escaped my notice. So I sought out the magazine in which it was printed....and then I thought..."Hey...I wonder if I could actually get that page..." And...somehow, the ebay gods took mercy on me...and I got it!

It was used in a San Diego Comic Con program and was one of the sketches for Superman's 50th anniversary. I can't remember which year off hand (mid 90's?)

Thanks. The bottom row of panels make this one of my favorite pages. I was at San Diego several (ten?) years ago and someone was selling these pages for between five to twenty dollars each. I was pretty broke at the time, but I bought all I could.
