The Watermarks is due to a nice chap stealing loads of my images and selling a page's of original art on ebay , I was stuck in the middle after the auction had finished ... so the watermark is to stop that again ... sorry about that .

no idea , but i have looked up Joe Eckers and could not find anything .... maybe its Alan Moore it would be funny if it was , only way to find out is by asking him ...

This has been confirmed as Alan Moore's first every printed 2000ad story , it came out 1st June 1980 , Killer in the cab came out July of the same year ....

totally gutted for you David ...i do believe it should be down to Heritage Auctions to help to sort this out ....it was more than likely not wrote on the package " COMIC BOOK ART " or on the customs sticker .... so tax will only be on the total at the highest value they can find ..... Personally i will never use Hertiage due to hidden fee's and poor customer relations .. Only plus side the last 2 deals i have done both buyers have traveled from Ireland and Germany to pick up the artwork , directly due to what has happen to you ... cheaper to fly in and fly back ...

Great painted page .....almost sure comicbook art is only 5% of import value ... Personally will never deal with Heritage ... i alway's get the impressions their taking the piss .... Internet Bid / Live Floor bid and then make a higher offer bid....all with buyer commission ... and stupid postage ... told a mate who runs a proper auction house ....he thought i was kidding ...
