Thanks, Chaykin Dude! It looked Transformers related, but I had no recollection of the "three faces on a rocket ship". I was never more than a casual fan back in the 80's, so I only casually watched the series and even then maybe only during the first two seasons and I never saw the movie, though several collector friends were raving about it when the topic came up during one of my live streams, some of them saying that they even cried when Optimus died, which blew my mind.  I have to admit that I was one of those guys who got a bit weepy-eyed when Optimus died. Even more though, I couldn't get over the shock of seeing my favourite Saturday-morning cartoon hero bite the dust! I had no clue what I was in for that day when I walked into the theatre. I will also say that it's been great to see the resurgence in interest in Transformers this past couple of years with the work that DWJ has done. |
