Amazing. Looking at this proves that Wood was WAY ahead of his time. He still has a better understanding of perspective and anatomy than 90% of the artists today.

Hey. So sorry to hear about this. I found out about this from the Garze thread. Let me tell you, I've met Golden a few times, and I can tell this guy doesn't care. My personal story, a friend of mine was DIEING and my girlfriend went to meet him at a convention, as I was out of the country, and see if he could do a simple Batman sketch and personalize it to my friend. I was willing to pay $150 for it. She told him that there was exactly the same thing on eBay at the time for $60, but that I wanted one done specifically for my friend. He told her to email him as he was busy, but my girlfriend swears all he was doing was eating a sandwich. I emailed him a couple of times and NOTHING! Screw this guy. I'm glad I saw him at a recent show and told me him this story. I also mentioned that he must have too much money, cause he didn't need mine.

Simple beautiful. Wood's EC work still shows more character and originality than 95% of the artists today. Wood was a pioneer in the comic industry over 50 years ago, and still is today. Beautiful work.

Beautiful work by Moebius. Isn't it interesting that his Silver Surfer work has some much character in it, even though he didn't care for this project. I wonder how it would have looked if it did. Still, I'd be interested in this page. GREAT GREAT WORK by Moebius.
