Awesome!  It's the first thing I though of when Absolute Wonder Woman said it was Pegasus and it was undead.  Either Charlie Adlard or Suydam would have to tackle this.

Great presence of a warrior woman captured in thie piece that has the sepia tone to feel aged back to the a time when Wonder Woman was just legend emerging.

I don't know if he could have done a piece just as effective in his studio.  The tones are just amazing as you get in close on the faces.

Evn with just one Donald, the page looks like Freccero was really enthusiastic to draw the galleon! 

Tackles the challenge of the prompt with both feet in!  Uses lots of ink to keep this mysterious and dark as to the eventual outcome!

Very nice portrait with the ink brushwork that caresses each supple curve of Punchline's design!  

Love that pattern work that's culturally unique.  A very warm moment as they connect as family even though they are folklore beings with tails.

I liked the sourdough toast for their charbroiled burgers.  Out west, we get more guacamole and roasted peppers for more smokey flavors.  Given that Cyclops is defeated and possibly decapitated on this page, I'd say the Hardees menu wins this round.

That Brainiac close up panel is so good!  The two white circles in the background compliment the circles on his head.

It's skilled inking to get so much in this complex double pager and still come out so meticulously clean.

Are you sure he just didn't rework Dylan Dog?  I like the grainy pencil to make it seem like he's a sand statue that can be blown away by the wind.  

With Vosburg's penchant for pin up art, we know Java Girl is going to be the focal point of their attck on this splash!

It's like a roll call page with each character getting their own panel before the teamwork begins!  The splattery background will work as long as there's action to focus upon.

Probably the page on everyone's wish list and had a mile long waiting list!  Ram V and Filipe Andrade brought us a tale about death at a time in history when there was so much to think about in real life.

Cyborg's dad and his architechs can't build a more pleasing figure than Starfire. 

Stacked!  Costa makes the cash secondary in this piece.

The shadow on the neck makes you do a double take with this head having a very rounded and coiled spidey web pattern.

It's awesome as it ended the event with a bang!  You can tell the left is the Heroes Reborn Hulk redesign that was more edgier.  But who can resist the incredible mass of the original?  A Spidey sandwhich for the ages!

Really cool as LaRocque had the 80's Spidey look down enough that it would have fit right in with the main ASM title. The storyteling with big panels is paced just right to appeal to the audience of the times. 

Knobby just got his security detail cancelled by executive order!

Thr sleek textures are great as you can feel the fast combat action!  I also like the spongy planetoid! 

Nice image of the Witch Boy!  Kirby and Royer know how to make an entrance!

Nice Dawnstar!  The background in cosmic emerald is very eye catching as a ontrast to the yellow of the costume.  The wings are like a wide royal robe!  

The simple Batman drawing getting the Cheung treatment is something of high quality and to be treasured.

Yes, it had to be from Thingvall's collection when you see Wonder Woman having to fit into a team up with the artist's own character and style.  They always result in a cool and unexpected dynamic.

On eof the coolest pages of the Boys you can find showing Billy and Hughie's relationship!  Having it without words is like reading this as a movie montage.

Awesome Perez art on one of the most sought after of the team ups having this babefest of Power Girl and Huntress. 

This is within that time period when many say Perez was at his peak.  

A fun piece picking up from last issue's cliffhanger.  Rousseau rewards those who came back to the same bat channel with some great likenesses and the resolution to the deathtrap!  

I have no idea if these ever made it to screen, but I think they wanted Kirby's creative energy in the animation studio to inspire the entire operation!  Nice old school character design where Kirby gives the character life.  

The eye says it all!  Very glamorously done with lush inks.

Fun layout!  It's spliced together to be fast paced like a film strip with the equal thickness of gutters. 

Mooney is a great artist choice for this story.  All the villains unwind and without their masks would take a veteran's touch to get each one to be actually compelling to the audience.  

This chapter splash is bascially another cover!  All the heroes in the splash in a moment of peril to spark imagination and drama!

That guy's an idiot!  Lu Ann's a screamer and his parents will now know what freaks they are. 

Very cool page!  Horley's paintings are very special and having both line and painted work on one piece is just amazing!  The color slot is well used for an emotional response with that tear.

Solid pickup!  Cho isn't supposed to do new sketches anymore.  This looks as fresh as the day it was made.

A classic move to show the laugh with underlighting!  The ear sticking out is just as devilishly cool as the smile!
