Damn! To think I've been looking for a decent Barda for my covers on BOP! And I had it all there, at Michael Bair's! I know now where to get the ultimate data on classic character renditions. No kidding, man. Thanks for sharing all that. I don't understand why DC hasn't proposed you to make a compendium of all their characters with your designs, really. These are more than fit to the task.

Hey, It's always interesting to get a hint on how an artist works his art out. Nice really nice. Everything that's attractive to the character is already there, in your rough pencil. The rest is ( awesome ) savoir-faire!

Awesome! It's as if you had caught that Hammer films way of lighting creepy scenery... Not only do you serve the Vampirella myth with respect but you also refer to those who knew how to deal with horror gimmicks, both in comics and movies of the 60's 70's. A real "tour de force"! Your super power is to make those improbable characters interesting! I mean, for many non-readers, super heroes are not appealing at all ... And among us fans, some still have difficulties to find "that" design attractive or "this" concept interesting. But you have what it takes to even make Valkyrie sexy, and impressive and sexy and determined and sexy and believable in her costume AND sexy! Bravo! Can't wait to see the final art!

Great technique, awesome, to say the least. But the attitude is, in my opinion, wrong. The haughty look is just not him. Here, he looks more like those arrogant male top-models who try to make us believe that being them is cool. Exactly the opposite image of what The Cap conveys... Too bad.
