Thank you!  I got lucky and got this back before a lot of people knew who Wayne was.  I wasn't making much $$ back then and fortunately art was less expensive back then; this one, although I don't have the measurements because it's framed, is a little bigger tthan the normal comic board.  I was going through some stuff and found the old digital file, so have been trying to put that stuff on CAF so people can share it.  Really appreciate the kind words!

Thank you!  It's one of my favorites.  As a long time fan and player of D&D, it reminds me quite a lot of some of the stuff our DM would throw at us, even when we were really low-level; he was trying to teach us to run away from battles instead of toward them.  Unfortunaely we never quite got it.  : )

Thank you!  I really appreciate it!  You're spot on, what with the detail, the expressions, you name it!  The one tiny panel (out of eleven as I count them!)  on the right, where poor Spidey is "holding his head on" after getting wolopped...the trash flying from the dumpster when he lands in it unceremoneously.  It's got it all!  And I love splash pages and covers as much as anyone else, but I've really started to love the storytelling of the paneled pages the "wiser" I get.  Chris has had some GREAT inkers during his career, mostly well-matched to the project he's on, but Tim is definitely the guy who brings his art to life the best, at least in this stage.  I can say I've spent many an hour looking at this, no exaggeration, and there is so much to enjoy and discover.  Thanks again for the kind words - you totally understand too!  : )

Thank you!  Very kind words!  It's really amazing how far Chris has come as a storyteller, and he started off pretty damned high on the scale innately.  The expresssoions of the characers, postures, clothing, even the backgrounds...he uses EVERYTHING at his disposal to push the story, make the viewer feel all-the-more involved, makes a "true believer" of us all.  And as he's evolved, so has Tim, in parallel.  The "feathering" I believe they call it - the thin-to-thick lines based on hand pressure - and the varying textures he can apply to cloth, metal, brick, pavement, you name it...It's a very happy eye that finds itself looking at their artwork.  And obviously, covers and splashes are awesome, we all know that and lust after them; but what is easy to forget is that each little panel is its own actual drawing!  I've found myself drawn more to the paneled pages the longer I appreciate comic art, because that's where the REAL storytelling is done.

Thank you, thank you!  One of the best things about Townsed & Bachalo (other than, well, everything) is looking at the background characters; their expressions and poses are always unique and full of life.  Plus, they do really cool webbing!!!

JP Mayer is a hell of an inker, and he and Ryan do great work together.  But...there's nothing truer than when an artist inks their own work, and this one is as cool as any cover out there, arguably even cooler!

An AMAZING artist lending his abilities to a mainstream character.  It doesn't get much better than Scalera's work.  Every page, cover, panel, is filled with character and talent.  Nice!!!

Wayne Reynolds is easily one of the BEST artists out there, and super-nice as a person besides.  Excellent find!
