Now this is gorgeous. I've been a fan of Michael's work for as long as I can remember. I would buy books to read based on his cover work. Happy you were able to talk Doug out of this one as it's a real beauty.

Wonderful piece here Matt, I really love Larry's work and already have a couple of his pieces in my collection. His wife Pat does some really nice work (more of a whimsical nature)as well and have a few of those as well.

Thanks a bunch for the nice comments on this piece Robert. John really shines when working in this medium. Very good painter as well but something about his pencils really excite me. And you're right, the tonal work is excellently done.

Thanks Tim for the compliment on the piece. I've had this piece for a while now (think I got it early last year) so I might have already bought it before you inquired. He did do some color correction digitally but it was mostly on the background so didn't look much different then the pic other then the contrast between the figure and the background.
