Stunning page by Ethan Van Sciver! I love the strong silhouettes Van Sciver used here to tell the story. Hal picks up the right and puts it on, reconnecting him to the power of the Green Lantern. Instead of a lot of exposition, Van Sciver uses dramatic lighting and powerful graphics. This page is like a master class in visual storytelling.

How cool is that!?! As a HUGE Green Lantern and Star Trek fan, I give that two thumbs up!! 

Great description, Scott, and I really think you hit the nail on the head; not only can Stuart draw anything, but he does it in such a way that it is a joy to actually LOOK at.  Buildings, "named" characters, people on the street, streetlights - there's just something about the way he does it that makes it utterly enthraling to me (and many others).  This page is a great example; filled to the brim with beauty and technique, worthy of close examination and "howdeedoodat?"  Congrats, Scott!

Gorgeous page! The middle panel with his blast looks like a Marvel vs Capcom hyper strike! Congrats. 

That's a gem of a Batman page. Well known for his inking, Burchett is often overlooked as a penciller, where he excelled as a storyteller. 

This is really cool.  I own the final cover and I haven't seen this.  Thank you for sharing.

Exclamation point of power!

Groovy fashions of the day and these lovely babes are all rendered by Parent who always delivers on the classic charm of B+V.

William Marshall and Pam Grier in the 1973 sequel Scream Blacula Scream at the drive in was a howling good time for make out artists and their dates.  If time travel was at play, they could have created a nexus event and a new timeline for Archie to meet The Punisher or any number of Predators.

Action goes right, left, right!  Great counters to the flow of movement and impact!

You may be hyping Robotman on Doom Patrol, but Garfield Logan appears on the Titans show as well.  

I was introduced to Robotman and Doom Patrol through New Teen Titans #13-15 and saw the relationship like Johnny and Ben Grimm.  These Spotlight issues did help me understand their bond and made me look up their old Doom Patrol issues together.  Ever the prankster, Changeling's banter with the man inside a robot always put a smile on my face.

I'm a pretty big Burnham fan. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Burnham draws his blue lines in first by hand.

I like the dynamic that they hadn't learned each others secret identities before.  Parobeck does a less streamlined version of the animated series, but adds thicker lines around curves to emphasize the animated look on the printed page.

Cool page. Always loved Wozniak myself.

I don't know why, but I have a particular fondness for the Kotter comic. It definitely takes me back in time. This is a fun page. Huge congrats!

DC's original Horshack!  Anyways, those Oksner inks are a splendid compliment to Estrada's comedic timing. 

The pachyderm and the close up panel of Black Lightning highlight this tension filled action piece. I wished I could have drawn comics when I was that age, Von Eeden was such a prodigy.

Two-Bits is the most captivating side character in all of this.  No other reason there would be so much effort put into that one indelible panel portrait.

A fantastic page from this series. I love those scenes that Frank drew! And, importantly, you got the Doomsday Clock! That's like getting a What If page with the Watcher, imo. Crucial. Congrats!
