CAF Update #135

We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between February 20-26, 2023, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.

I've selected 10 auction lots from show sponsor Heritage Auctions upcoming Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. Last auction HA had a great Walt Simonson and Al Milgrom X-Factor page that sold for $16,200, and this week they've got another from issue #38 featuring the Goblin Queen, Archangel and Longshot. They've also got this nice Avengers Annual #15 page by Steve Ditko and Klaus Janson, a Rusty Riley Sunday from 1950 by Frank Godwin, this Wolverine #24 page by Gene Colan featuring everyone's favorite mutant in action, this Justice League #207 page by Don Heck and Romeo Tanghal, an Alex Saviuk and Dan Panosian Web of Spider-Man #96 page from 1993, the cover to Winterworld #1 by Jackson "Butch" Guice, a splash page to Spectacular Spider-Man #72 by Ed Hannigan and Al Milgrom, this fun Super Friends page by Ramona Fradon and Bob Smith, and finally a Weird War Tales #40 page from 1975 by Fred Carrillo. A little something for everyone's taste in this week's Heritage auction!
