CAF Update #145

We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between May 1-7, 2023, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.

I've selected 10 auction lots this week from show sponsor Heritage Auctions upcoming Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. There is a Silver Surfer Essential back cover artwork by John Buscema that will knock you off your surfboard, a George Perez JLA #192 page with John Beatty inks, a cool Captain Marvel #37 splash page by Al Milgrom and Klaus Janson, a variant cover to Taskmaster #1 by Nick Bradshaw, a Bryan Hitch and Paul Neary Ultimates #2 page from 2007 featuring Thor, this Steve Dillon Warrior Magazine #15 page from 1983, a rare Spider-Woman page from issue #34 by Leialoha and Milgrom, an Al Jaffee Fold-In prelim for Mad Magazine, a Deadpool page by Joe Madureira and Mark Farmer, and finally this mixed media painting by the influential Barron Storey. A little something for everyone's taste in this upcoming weekly Heritage auction!
