CAF Update #160

We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between August 21-27, 2023, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.

I've selected 10 auction lots this week from show sponsor Heritage Auctions upcoming Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. Ending next Wednesday they have this great Thanos Annual #1 cover from 2018 by Geoff Shaw with the Silver Surfer, a Graham Ingels Planet Comics #61 page from 1949, a Brent Anderson Batman Legends of the Dark Knight #31 page from 1992, a Warren Tufts Casey Ruggles Daily Comic Strip from 1951, a Jason Shawn Alexander Spawn #296 DPS, a Sal Velluto and Bob Almond Black Panther DPS from issue #36, an Enrique Romero Modesty Blaise strip from the 1960's, a Magik commission by the amazing Mike Perkins, a Namor page from 1990 by John Byrne, and finally a Punisher #29 page by Bill Reinhold and Mark Farmer from 1990. As you can see, a little something for everyone's taste in this upcoming weekly Heritage auction!
