We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between September 25 - October 1, 2023, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.
I've selected 10 auction lots this week from show sponsor Heritage Auctions upcoming Weekly Comic Art Auction that I've chosen to feature. There is a great half page of published art from the Flash by Carmine Infantino, a Red Sonja Marvel Feature page from issue #3 by Frank Thorne, a THOR title page by Ron Frenz and Al Milgrom from issue #433, a piece of Wildstorm card art of Groo by Sergio Aragones, a fantastic Ross Andru page from the Unexpected #147, a futuristic Kid Colt interior page by Eduardo Barreto, this very nice Swamp Thing Annual #4 page by Pat Broderick, this beautiful program cover by David Petersen featuring Mouse Guard, a sketch of Wolverine by Matteo Scalera and an illustration of Spider-Man by Ryan Stegman. As you can see, a little something for everyone's taste in this upcoming weekly Heritage auction!
