We run down all the popular artworks posted to CAF between June 16-22, 2025, and also review highlights from sales reported from original Comic Art Dealers and Auction Houses for the same periods.
I've selected 10 auction lots this week from show sponsor Heritage Auctions current Weekly Comic Art Auction. We start things off with this great Mister X page by Jaime Hernandez which has a nice flow to it with all the shadows from panel to panel. Then there is a great Epting and Palmer Avengers #355 page, an Alex Toth pencil illustration with plenty of women on it, a Ross Andru Amazing Spider-Man page from issue #140 (no Spidey, but it's Andru!), a Frank Brunner Man-Thing fighting an alligator pencil piece, a page from JLA #200 by Carmine Infantino and Frank Giacoia, a Cracked Magazine back cover painting by Bill Wray, an unused cover prelim to Black Cat Mystery by Warren Kremer from 1952, a wonderfully paced Starman #74 page by Russ Heath, and lastly this DPS from The Leopard #2 by Dan Day which may not have been published but it's too damn awesome not to feature. As usual, something for everyone's taste in this weekly Heritage auction!
