As the quartet drives the Darkseid from the past back to his own era, the remaining Legionnaires fight the present-day Darkseid. Weakening, the contemporary Darkseid has to take back power from his servants, who are returned to their former lives, until a confrontation with Clark Kent ends with Darkseid down and Clark back to normal. |
