Simultaneously, the Baron is poised to attack the Manhattan Project research center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee while Sumo gets ready to attack the Manhattan Project research center in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Both are stealing both halves of a nuclear reactor. | |
comic story | Report Six: Conflagration | Superman; Wonder Woman; Sumo The Samurai; Baron Blitzkrieg; Zwerg; Secretary of War Henry L. Stimson; President Franklin Roosevelt | Realizing that Earth is in trouble, Superman and Wonder Woman stop their battle and return to Earth. There they split up to find the reactor’s two halves. The two heroes defeat the villains and bring them and the halves to a small island. Using his powers, the Baron activates the two halves. When Superman uses his x-ray vision to look at it, the reactor becomes an atomic bomb. Both Sumo and the Baron fight each other for the weapon and they somehow die when it detonates. The heroes return to D.C. where President Roosevelt assures them that America would never use the bomb to kill anyone. | |
