It blindsided him and the rest of the family, and our focus outside of his immediate needs pretty much came to a full stop, including my work.
Unfortunately, my dad's health declined rapidly and steadily from his initial diagnosis, and he passed away from his cancer two weeks ago.
Since that time, I myself have been recovering from pneumonia, a health situation I had been ignoring during his final two weeks.
Now -- as I slowly heal and begin to step back into my day-to-day life I realize I need to try and find a way to help recover from all the work ing time lost these past two months. In an effort to get back on my feet, I have decided to part with a number of pieces from my original art collection.
Hopefully I can raise some much needed funds while I turn my attention back to long neglected projects.
A number of the pieces on offer are singular, executed by some of the greatest legends in comic art history, and each piece has brought me a lot of joy and inspiration over the years. Hopefully they will be of equal interest to some of you.
My thanks to everyone in giving them your kind consideration. OFFERS ACCEPTED TILL NOON FEB. 16TH CST on certain pieces, otherwise OFFERS ACCEPTED TILL NOON FEB. 23RD CST. PAYPAL or PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED. Thank you.
