Dick Giordano
Richard Joseph "Dick" Giordano (July 20, 1932 – March 27, 2010) was an American comics artist and editor whose career included introducing Charlton Comics' "Action Heroes" stable of superheroes and serving as executive editor of DC Comics. Giordano received recognition in the industry for his work, including the Alley Award for Best Editor in 1969. He won the Shazam Award for Best Inker (Dramatic Division) in 1970 (for Green Lantern), 1971, 1973 (for Justice League of America), and 1974. He won the 1971 Goethe Award for "Favorite Pro Editor." Giordano received an Inkpot Award in 1981. In 2009 he was awarded the Inkwell Awards Joe Sinnott Hall of Fame Award.

Nostalgic Investments has been in the comic book and original art marketplace for over thirty years. Our company travels the country buying collections large and small, and exhibits at all the major comic conventions. We brought to market the Boston and Crowley pedigree collections of high-grade comics. We were also the main architects behind the purchase of the Tony Christopher art collection which included over eight hundred Jack Kirby pieces. Nostalgic Investments was also instrumental in acquiring the complete book to X-Men #1, also by Kirby.

So although our website is new you can feel confident in dealing with a veteran in the original comic book and art community.

Have something to sell? We consistently pay more than our competitors for single pieces and quality collections of Original Art. Vintage comics are also of interest to us.

Nostalgic Investments will give you the ability to trade art or comics that you possess for art on this website. Contact us for more details.
