George Perez
Comic artist George Perez (1954-2022) worked primarily with Marvel Comics and DC Comics throughout his long career, and is probably best known for his work on Wonder Woman, New Teen Titans and Crisis on Infinite Earths for DC, and his Avengers relaunch in the 1990s with Marvel. George Perez had an amazingly detailed style, and was known for his ability to draw large, multi-character battle scenes - showcased in the crossover book JLA/Avengers in 2003. George worked on many different titles and characters in his long comic art career, including the Fantastic Four, Superman, Batman, Infinity Gauntlet, the HULK, Silver Surfer, Action Comics and the Brave and the Bold. George Perez was also a chairman with the Hero Initiative, a non-profit organization that assists comic creators in need.

Years ago, Glen Brunswick, owner of PANEL PAGE ART, met a prestigious art dealer that had a Madison Avenue gallery. He asked the dealer how he could tell if a piece of art was good or not. The dealer said he based his opinion on a gut feeling. He had to love the art he represented at least a little bit. It's this philosophy that goes into every piece of art we buy and sell. We consider ourselves curators of comic art collections.
