Athenaeum Comic Art has added new art from Nate Powell, Lee Lai, Emma Hunsinger, and Ryan Andrews to the website and we are so excited to have you all check it out! Follow those links or take a look at specific pieces below.
We are super proud of Lee Lai for making it on a ton of Best of 2025 lists including in The Guardian. I LOVED Cannon, so you might want to check it out. We have sold a LOT of pages so far, but there are somer really beautiful ones still available.
We are also working hard behind the scenes at Athenaeum to bring you some fun surprises in 2026. So, look out for more information soon!
AND our first show of 2026 will be at the Original Art Expo in Orlando, Florida from February 20-22 with Caroline Cash, Nate Powell, and Matthew Allison. If you are looking to pick up some art in person, let me know.

Nate Powell is the first cartoonist ever to win the National Book Award. He began self-publishing at age 14, and graduated from School of Visual Arts in 2000. His work includes new Eisner-nominated Ozark horror tale Come Again, civil rights icon John Lewis' legendary March trilogy, comics essay About Face, Two Dead, You Don't Say, Any Empire, Swallow Me Whole, The Silence Of Our Friends, The Year Of The Beasts, and Rick Riordan’s The Lost Hero. Powell’s work has also received a Robert F. Kennedy Book Award, three Eisner Awards, two Ignatz Awards, the Michael L. Printz Award, a Coretta Scott King Author Award, four YALSA Great Graphic Novels For Teens selections, the Walter Dean Myers Award, and is a two-time finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
